“Constructive” | West Ham hold Chris Rigg talks

West Ham have held talks over signing Chris Rigg from Sunderland this summer.

The highly-rated attacking midfielder is attracting plenty of attention from other clubs incusing Spurs, following an excellent season so far, which has seen the Championship talent pick up 4 goals and an assist for the Black Cats.

Should Sunderland fail to gain promotion to the top flight this season, its widely expected that Rigg will depart the club, with West Ham understood to be the frontrunners at present.

We understand that the club have already held constructive talks with the representatives of Rigg, with a growing sense that a deal will be struck to see the England U21 player head to east London at the end of the season.
