Copa do Brasil final drives Vasco to 75,000 members after 15,000 join in a day | OneFootball

Vasco have added 15,000 members in a single day as the Copa do Brasil final with Corinthians approaches. According to Globo.com, more than 20,000 have joined in the past week.

The first leg kicks off on Wednesday at 21:30 Brasília time. Tickets for Sunday’s return at the Maracanã, 18:00, are sold out.

Supporter engagement has surged with the club reaching a national final for the first time in 14 years. The club also urged sign-ups via its Sócio Gigante page, highlighting priority purchasing for higher tier plans.

On 10 December, the day before the semi-final against Fluminense, Vasco had 55,237 members. By the early hours of Wednesday the total had passed 76,000, an increase of almost 40 per cent in a week.

After sales opened for the return leg, the club crossed 60,000 on Tuesday, the eve of the first leg, and surpassed 75,000 by the end of the day.
