Valencia travel to Son Moix on Tuesday for a pivotal survival meeting with Mallorca, with the sides split by one point. Kick-off is at seven in the evening.
According to Superdeporte, Carlos Corberán said Unai Núñez remains out injured and Eray Cömert has not trained with the squad, leaving César Tárrega as the only fit centre-back. Pepelu will partner Tárrega in defence.
There is some relief in attack as Hugo Duro makes the 25-man list despite muscle issues during the week. The head coach has not made any technical omissions.
Midfield plans have been hit by gastroenteritis for Baptiste Santamaría, who is left out of the travelling party. Long-term absentees include Julen Agirrezabala, José Copete, Mouctar Diakhaby and Dimitri Foulquier.
Corberán has bolstered numbers with academy players Vicent Abril, Rubo Iranzo and Fontanet, plus midfielder Lucas Núñez. Valencia flew to Palma at seven in the evening on Monday and hold a three-point cushion above the drop, despite poor finishes in the past six seasons.
