Corinthians announce ThermoHuman partnership to boost player monitoring | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians announced on Wednesday afternoon a partnership with Spanish company ThermoHuman, a thermography specialist, to strengthen their physical assessments.

Thermography uses infrared imaging to analyse body heat. In sport, the software is applied to detect inflammation, asymmetries and overloaded muscle groups.

It can highlight issues before an injury appears, offering added protection to players. The system is also quick, both in testing and in processing results.

The tie-up comes as the squad manage multiple muscle problems. On Sunday, Yuri Alberto was substituted with a thigh issue and will miss the remainder of the Campeonato Paulista.

Breno Bidon and Kaio César are also sidelined with similar complaints, though they could still feature in the state competition. Corinthians face Portuguesa for a semi-final place on Sunday at 20:30 at Canindé.

ThermoHuman thanked Leandro Spigolon, Reginaldo Nascimento and the rest of the staff for their trust as the system is implemented.
