Last season, the first triumph outside Itaquera arrived on the seventh trip, against Ceará. Talles Magno scored under Dorival Júnior, after three draws and three defeats away from home.

The season before last, the breakthrough came only in the 10th away match, a round 18 win over Bahia with Romero scoring and Ramón Díaz in charge. Before that, there had been two draws and seven defeats on the road.

In 2023, the first away points came in round 11 at Santos, through Yuri Alberto and Ruan Oliveira, with Vanderlei Luxemburgo on the touchline. Up to then, all five visits had ended in defeat.

In 2022 and 2021, the first away wins arrived immediately, against Botafogo, scored by Paulinho, Mantuan and Lucas Piton, and against América-MG, scored by Fábio Santos.

Corinthians now visit Cruzeiro at the Mineirão on Wednesday at 20:00 in round four of the Brasileirão. Before that, they play Portuguesa on Sunday at 20:30 at Canindé in the Paulista quarter-finals.
