Corinthians loan Neo Química Arena as Santos v Bragantino switches, Brasileiro opener set for Vila Belmiro | OneFootball

Santos' Campeonato Paulista clash with Red Bull Bragantino has been moved from Vila Belmiro to Corinthians' Neo Química Arena, the São Paulo state federation announced.

The game is at 16:00 on 25 January, when São Paulo marks its 471st anniversary. Corinthians also play that night, away to Velo Clube at 20:30 at Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano in Rio Claro.

Corinthians' next outing will be their Campeonato Brasileiro opener against Bahia at Vila Belmiro, not the Neo Química Arena. The match has been brought forward from 29 to Wednesday 28 at 20:00, after agreement between the clubs and approval from the FPF and CBF on Friday.

That change gives Corinthians an extra day before the Supercopa do Brasil decider against Flamengo at Mané Garrincha in Brasília, on Sunday 1 February at 16:00.

Corinthians could not host in the city on the 28th, as São Paulo face Flamengo the same day and the Military Police normally do not allow two major fixtures in the capital on one date, so Vila Belmiro was a solution.

It is not the first time Santos have hosted at the Neo Química Arena. In 2024 they beat Bragantino 3-1 there in a one-off Paulista semi-final, with Corinthians receiving about R$640,000 after costs. In February 2025 Santos asked then president Augusto Melo to release the stadium for a Paulista match with Água Santa, but the request was declined days later.
