Corinthians lose to São Paulo at Parque São Jorge in U17 Women's Paulistão

On the afternoon of last Saturday, September 5, Corinthians faced São Paulo at the Alfredo Schürig Stadium, Fazendinha, for the second round of the group stage of the Paulista U-17 Women's Championship and lost by a score of 2-1. The goal for the Brabinhas was scored by Letícia Mara.

To start the match, coach Julia Passero fielded the following team: Ana Morganti; Dany Pereira, Hariadni and Lari Horn, Glória Lira, Júlia Faria, Carol Melo, Kaillany and Pepê; Dulce Maria and Lívia. The bench had the following options: Carol Paiva, Mari Barroso, Anna Martins, Nay, Natália Pereira, Michaela, Dafhiny, Elohá and Letícia Mara.

The first 45 minutes of the match showed Corinthians' superiority, but it was marked by little efficiency. This is because the Alvinegro ended the first half losing 1-0, after conceding a goal at 13 minutes. In the second half, the scenario repeated itself, but once again Corinthians struggled with a lack of effectiveness. The Brabinhas ended up conceding a second goal and reduced the score in the added time of the Majestic with Letícia Mara.

Now, the Brabinhas return to the field only on the next September 13, Saturday, at 3 PM (Brasília time). Corinthians will face Ituano at the Novelli Júnior Stadium for the third round of the group stage of the Women's Paulista Championship.
