Corinthians name starting XI to face Mirassol at home in the Brasileirão

Corinthians hosts Mirassol this Saturday night, October 4th, at Neo Química Arena, at 9 PM (Brasília time), in a match valid for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship. Currently, the Alvinegro is in 13th place with 30 points (seven wins, nine draws, and ten losses – 26 goals scored and 32 conceded).

In light of this, assistant coach and son of the head coach, Lucas Silvestre, has lined up the team as follows: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, João Pedro, Gustavo Henrique, and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, José Martínez, Breno Bidon, and Maycon; Gui Negão and Yuri Alberto.

The technical staff will have the following absences for the match: defender André Ramalho (strain in the right thigh muscle), midfielder Charles (in transition after right knee pain), midfielder André Carrillo (recovering from a ligament injury in the left ankle), and Rodrigo Garro (grade 2 calf injury). Coach Dorival Júnior is also out for two games, having been cautioned with a yellow followed by a red card in the midweek match.

The bench options include: Felipe Longo, Félix Torres, Cacá, Fabrizio Angileri, Hugo Farias, Ryan, André, Dieguinho, Kayke, Ángel Romero, Memphis Depay, and Vitinho.

After facing Mirassol, Corinthians will continue to focus on the national competition but will only play again after the FIFA date, on the next October 15th, at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), when Alvinegro will visit Santos at Vila Belmiro for the 28th round of the Brazilian Championship.
