Corinthians register Pedro Milans for Campeonato Paulista | OneFootball

Corinthians have registered right-back Pedro Milans for the Campeonato Paulista. According to Globo.com, the Uruguayan could be used by Dorival Júnior on Sunday against Velo Clube in Rio Claro, in the fifth round.

Milans has not played an official match since 30 November last year and has been doing double sessions at CT Joaquim Grava to regain fitness. Corinthians will use their reserve side on Sunday, so there is a strong chance the Uruguayan will make his debut.

Aged 23, Milans has signed with Timão until the end of the 2029 season. He came through at Juventud and spent the past four years with Peñarol, averaging more than 30 matches per season in Montevideo.

His registration takes Corinthians to 32 players eligible for the Paulista, with 24 on List A, which has a limit of 35 names, and eight on List B for academy players.

The board should also register forward Kaio César, currently playing in Saudi Arabia, and midfielder Alisson, who is leaving São Paulo.
