Corinthians step up transition training ahead of Brasileirão return

Corinthians continues its preparation for the upcoming commitments in the Brazilian Championship. On the morning of this Wednesday (04), the alvinegro squad trained at the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center, continuing their work with an eye on the matches against Coritiba, Santos, Chapecoense, and Flamengo throughout March in the national competition.

The activity began with a physical activation stage in the gym. Then, on the field, the players performed warm-ups with passing exchanges and movements. The technical team led by Dorival Júnior subsequently conducted a transition drill with three against two and four against three situations, prioritizing speed and decision-making.

An attack versus defense activity with numerical superiority was also conducted before concluding with a reduced-field scrimmage in a ten against ten format. The squad will train again on the morning of this Thursday (05), once more at the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center. Currently, Corinthians is in third place in the Brazilian Championship, with seven points earned.

The alvinegro campaign in the Brasileirão so far includes a defeat in the debut against Bahia by 2 to 1, two victories over Red Bull Bragantino (2 to 0) and Athletico Paranaense (1 to 0), and a 1 to 1 draw against Cruzeiro.
