Corinthians' 2-0 Supercopa do Brasil triumph over Flamengo drew a competition record crowd of 71,244 at Mané Garrincha.
According to Meu Timao, the Brasilia final also set the stadium's attendance and revenue records, with the gate generating more than R$ 12 million for the CBF.
The figure eclipsed the 67,422 who watched Palmeiras beat Flamengo 4-3 at the same venue in 2023, while Flamengo's 3-0 win over Athletico-PR in 2020 drew 48,009.
Mané Garrincha holds 72,788, and this final filled 97.87 per cent of capacity, a higher share than editions staged at Mangueirão, Arena Pantanal, Morumbis, Olímpico, São Januário and previous Brasília ties.
The latest title also dwarfed crowds from the first iteration, including 2,706 for Corinthians 1-0 Flamengo in 1991, plus 34,461 at Olímpico then 3,000 at São Januário for Grêmio v Vasco in 1990.
Despite the milestone, Corinthians will not receive any of the R$ 12 million gate, which goes entirely to the CBF, and will instead collect prize money of approximately R$ 11.55 million. The Supercopa do Brasil ran in 1990 and 1991, and was revived in 2020 to pit the previous season's champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Copa do Brasil.
