Corinthians ‘to leave’ Allan out against Flamengo over R$ 2m clause | OneFootball

ESPN reports that Allan will not feature for Corinthians against Flamengo on Sunday, with the club set to omit the on-loan midfielder.

The agreement between the clubs carries a R$ 2 million charge if he plays against Flamengo, so Dorival Júnior's side have opted to keep him out at Neo Química Arena.

Allan is on loan from Flamengo. He made 33 appearances for Flamengo in 2025, 17 as a starter, then played only one match in 2026, coming off at half-time against Fluminense in the Campeonato Carioca. Without space under former coach Filipe Luís, he accepted a move to Corinthians.

Should Corinthians pursue a permanent deal at year end, Flamengo have set a price of 2.5 million euros, around R$ 15.5 million, for 50 per cent of his economic rights. Flamengo could profit further down the line.

The sides meet in the eighth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro on Sunday 22. Kick-off is 20:30 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena, São Paulo.
