Crystal Palace host Bournemouth in a Premier League showdown on Saturday, April 19th, at 3pm (UK time). The Eagles were hammered 5-0 at Newcastle on Wednesday evening, while The Cherries managed a 1-0 win over Fulham on Monday. Find our betting tips for the game below, which can be backed at 1/1 and 28/1.

Tyler Adams to Commit 2+ Fouls (1/1 with bet365)

Tyler Adams is just the sort of player who Andoni Iraola loves having in the middle of the park. With his tenacity and ability to constantly swarm opposition players, he tends to rack up the fouls. The American has given away at least two fouls in all of his last seven matches with totals of 3,4,2,2,2,2,3,4. Bournemouth have committed more fouls than any other team in the Premier League this season, emphasising how much Iraola loves his players to press and to break up opposition attacks. At even money, Adams looks a solid bet to make it eight games in a row in which he’s cleared this line.

Antonie Semenyo and Eberechi Eze to Score (28/1 with Sky Bet)

No player in the Premier League has let off more shots this season than Bournemouth’s Antonie Semenyo. In total, he has recorded 113 shots at an average of 3.6 per game, during a campaign in which he has managed eight league goals. Semenyo scored the only goal of the game against Fulham on Monday and can lead the charge for European qualification for the Cherries with another goal here.

Eberechi Eze to score is the second half of this 28/1 double that can be backed via the price boosts section on Sky Bet this weekend. Eze may not have the scoring record that Semenyo possesses this term, but in recent weeks, he has been as lively as ever. The 26-year-old missed a penalty in the 5-0 thumping from Newcastle on Wednesday evening, but before that trip to the North East, he had scored in three of his last six appearances for club and country. Eze averages 3.2 shots per game this season, and we are getting a solid price here about two players who pose a serious threat on goal.

How both teams go into Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth

Crystal Palace failed to win any of their opening eight Premier League contests this season (five losses and three draws), but have been one of the most impressive teams to watch since the end of November. Palace had enjoyed a run of eight unbeaten (W7 D1) before their trip to Manchester City last weekend. Glasner’s side went 2-0 up against City before losing 5-2, but things went from bad to worse when they shipped another five without reply at St James’ Park on Wednesday evening. Since returning to English top-flight football in 2013, their best placement is 10th, achieved on two occasions under Alan Pardew (2014/15) and Glasner last season (2022/23). Right now they are two points behind ninth-place Bournemouth.

The Cherries find themselves eighth in the Premier League table, six points behind Aston Villa and Chelsea in sixth and seventh. It’s been a strong season for Iraola’s men, but a four game winless streak (L3 D1) prior to last Monday’s win over Fulham, has seen a gap open up between themselves and the Champions League chasers. European qualification is still a real possibility for Bournemouth who will be buoyed by the fact Saturday’s opponents have conceded ten goals across their last two outings.

Crystal Palace team news

Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucouré are long-term absentees for Crystal Palace after both sustained knee injuries. Riad isn’t expected back until January 2025, while Doucouré could feature at the start of next season.

Bournemouth team news

Enes Unal will not be available for Bournemouth until next season after he underwent knee surgery. Marcus Tavernier and Justin Kluivert could be available for this contest as they have missed out recently due to respective injuries. However, there is no return date for Luis Sinisterra and Ryan Christie, with both currently being assessed.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth head-to-head

Crystal Palace will be looking to end a three-game winless streak against Bournemouth (two losses and one draw) after winning five of their previous six meetings in all competitions (one loss).
