Andre Onana has been United’s undisputed choice in goal for the Premier League and Champions League games. Altay Bayindir has started the last two League Cup ties, but manager Ruben Amorim could go with Onana, given the importance of the fixture.

In central defence, we anticipate one change with Harry Maguire making way for Leny Yoro on the right side of the back three. The wonderkid has been impressive since his debut and should get another opportunity alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez.

Noussair Mazraoui has recovered from a minor knock to travel to London. The Moroccan should start at right wing-back, but we predict Diogo Dalot to be dropped. The Portuguese star has struggled as a left wing-back and Tyrell Malacia could get the nod over him.

In central midfield, Kobbie Mainoo is poised to partner Manuel Ugarte. He had a solid outing after replacing the injured Mason Mount in the Manchester derby.

Bruno Fernandes played higher up the pitch after Mount’s injury. The captain should start as one of the attacking midfielders against Spurs along with Amad Diallo.

Up front, Rasmus Hojlund should be preferred over Joshua Zirkzee. The Dane has five goals since Amorim’s took charge and looks set to continue as the main striker.
