Leeds United resume their survival push at Bournemouth on Wednesday, and Daniel Farke has offered a boost, with Dan James back in team training, though he still needs sessions to build up.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke, speaking at a Tuesday lunchtime press conference, said Joe Rodon is also back, there are no new injuries and the rest of the squad is available.

Anton Stach is not yet in team training and will not travel. Farke described his return as a day-to-day matter, saying this type of injury is usually only realistic in May, but he believes it is a question of days rather than weeks and he does not want to add pressure.

Rodon had already made a surprise early comeback on the bench in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Wolves, then featured for a few minutes as a very late second half substitute.

That victory moved Leeds to 39 points, eight clear of the relegation zone. The Bournemouth match has been brought forward because United play Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

After Wolves, Farke said he was hopeful of having both players back in the near future.
