Things are heating up on the transfer market at FC Bayern right now. Two new signings have already been officially confirmed, and there’s also a lot of movement on the outgoing side. Another deal is now essentially a done deal.
It involves the departure of Jonathan Asp Jensen. The young Danish attacking player, who was on loan to Grasshoppers in Zurich last season, will be leaving the record champions.
Several clubs have recently been vying for the player, with Lazio in particular reaching out to FC Bayern. However, the Italians’ offer for the promising young player was insufficient and was rejected by Bayern.
The Italians initially wanted to sign Asp Jensen on loan and then secure his services through a purchase option or obligation. For FCB, this was a deal that came with a certain degree of uncertainty.
According to Italian media reports, Udinese Calcio is also said to have expressed interest. However, Lazio’s Serie A rival will not be making a move for Asp Jensen either.

As reported by BILD, among others, the decision in the bidding war for the young attacking player has reportedly been made. Deportivo La Coruña, a historic Spanish club that has just returned to La Liga, will secure the player’s services.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano also reports that the deal is nearing completion.
It is a permanent transfer. That is exactly what Bayern Munich wanted from the start. Asp Jensen will therefore be sold immediately; there will be no loan. Currently, the final details are reportedly still being worked out, after which the contract will be signed.
The exact amount is not yet known, though there have been several recent reports suggesting that the record champions are asking for around six million euros for the young Danish star. It therefore appears that another multi-million sum is set to flow into Bayern’s account.
