A winter departure of Sacha Boey is getting closer at FC Bayern. The Munich club are still open to a move for the right-back as early as January and have apparently set a clear price internally

According to Sky, Bayern are currently demanding up to €20 million for the 25-year-old

Boey moved to Munich from Galatasaray Istanbul in January 2024 for around €30 million, but has so far failed to make a lasting impression on the pitch. The Frenchman has only played a minor role under coach Vincent Kompany this season and has barely featured recently. The club and player are therefore discussing possible scenarios for the winter

According to Sky, Boey is basically willing to move, but has clear conditions. The full-back has already turned down several offers because he only wants to move to a club with clear sporting prospects. A transfer „at any price“ is out of the question for him

Crystal Palace and Galatasaray interested in Boey

Crystal Palace are still rumoured to be interested, but there is currently no concrete progress. No negotiations are currently taking place between the clubs. Galatasaray are also keeping a close eye on the situation of their former player and could become an issue again in the winter

Bayern, for their part, are pursuing a clear plan. A permanent sale is possible, but they would prefer at least a loan with an obligation to buy in order to avoid having to accept too great a financial loss. Internally, they are aware that an immediate sale below the original purchase price would be difficult to explain in sporting and economic terms

It remains to be seen whether an agreement will actually be reached in January, but one thing is clear: Bayern are willing to talk, the price tag has been defined – and Boey’s future in Munich depends largely on whether a club with the right sporting prospects and the desired deal structure approaches the record champions.
