DFL: Axel Hellmann unanimously re-elected | OneFootball

Eintracht CEO Axel Hellmann will remain a member of the DFL Executive Committee for four more years until 2029. CFO Julien Zamberk becomes a member of the Licensing Committee.

On Wednesday, the clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 gathered in Berlin for the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga e.V. General Assembly, where the constitution of the Executive Committee until 2029 was decided.

The representatives of all 36 clubs from Germany’s highest two football leagues unanimously endorsed Axel Hellmann as a DFL Executive Committee member. The CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG has been on the committee since August 2022.

The nine-member body is completed by Speaker Hans-Joachim Watzke, 1st Deputy Speaker Oliver Leki, 2nd Deputy Speaker Oke Göttlich, Jan-Christian Dreesen, Steffen Schneekloth, Holger Schwiewagner as well as CEOs Marc Lenz and Steffen Merkel.

In addition, Julien Zamberk, CFO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG since 1 November 2024, is now part of the DFL Licensing Committee.
