Divock Origi has left Milan by mutual consent and is now a free agent. According to NY Times, the striker had not featured for the club since the 2022-23 season.

The 30-year-old joined the Serie A side in summer 2022 on a free after his Liverpool deal expired. He scored twice in 36 appearances in his debut campaign.

He spent 2023-24 on loan at Nottingham Forest, scoring once in 22 outings. His most recent match came in April 2024, a 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton.

Origi netted 41 goals across seven seasons at Liverpool and helped them win the 2018-19 Champions League and the Premier League the following year.

The former Lille striker famously scored twice, including the winner, in the 2019 Champions League semi-final comeback against Barcelona. He also scored the second goal in the 2-0 final victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

He featured eight times for Milan during their run to the Champions League semi-final stage in 2022-23. Milan are second in Serie A, one point behind leaders Inter.
