Doubts over Manchester United’s current goalkeeping options continue to mount after their 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday.

Ruben Amorim once again opted to start Altay Bayindir, who looked nervy during every set-piece, a frailty the Cottagers tried to exploit time and again.

Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp is expected to be signed after face-to-face talks between both clubs. And initially, it was thought that the Turk would be the obvious fall guy.

But The Peoples Person relayed that the Turkiye international is likely to stay put until at least January. That means the club’s No. 1 is no longer safe.

Both United GKs in danger

Andre Onana once again had to watch from the sidelines, and there are murmurs that the Red Devils are prepared to let him go, with three of Saudi Arabia’s biggest clubs lurking.

INEOS are not done just yet, if journalist Pablo Oliveira is to be believed. He has claimed that the Red Devils are eyeing yet another goalkeeper this window.

Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic has emerged as a surprise target, with Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham Hotspur also chasing his signature.

“Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic is a possible transfer target for Manchester United, but there is still no official proposal.

Livakovic on United’s radar

“Nottingham Forest has made a formal offer, while Tottenham has also expressed interest in the Croatian goalkeeper,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The Fenerbahce man kept nine clean-sheets in 22 league games last term, and his World Cup heroics from the spot are well-known to all. United legend Peter Schmeichel is clearly a big fan.

Such links indicate that INEOS want to upgrade the whole goalkeeping department, and that means even Bayindir’s position is far from secure.

Based off of what we have seen from both United keepers since last season, the co-owners are certainly doing the right thing.
