Erling Haaland finally scores a PL goal at Anfield to seal dramatic win 😲 | OneFootball

In one of the most dramatic and remarkable endings to a game in Premier League history, Erling Haaland played a central role on a day to remember for the striker. 

While the 25-year-old scored for RB Salzburg against Liverpool back in 2019, he had never scored for Manchester City on a ground where the club has such a wretched record. 

Having scored with ease at every other Premier League ground he's played at bar the Stadium of Light (just one game so far), it looked like his goalless run would extend to four games after a largely listless display.

However, he sprung into life to turn the game on its head, providing the headed assist for Bernardo Silva to equalise with six minutes to go before slotting home a nerveless penalty to give City the lead in added time. 

He may have had a second goal in the final stages but was pulled back by Dominik Szoboszlai - who had given Liverpool the lead with a stunning free-kick - in an ending unlike any other in recent memory. 

Could this be the launchpad as City and Haaland look to chase down Arsenal in the title race?
