Everton have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich to sign teenage left-back Adam Aznou, according to one renowned Toffees insider on X.
Everton are preparing for life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the 19-year-old Bundesliga starlet is set to join them soon after their £8 million bid was accepted.
Aznou has also been given a green light to undergo a medical ahead of completing a move to the Toffees, and an official announcement could be made soon.
The reliable Everton insider (followed by the likes of Alan Myers, Fabrizio Romano, Jason Burt and Christopher Beesley on social media) reported via X on Saturday that the deal is all but wrapped up, and manager David Moyes will be glad to be getting the deal over the line.
The Morocco international will be providing Vitalii Mykolenko with much-needed quality competition and cover at the left-back spot, and he will fancy his chances of playing regularly having struggled for opportunities at Bayern after playing just four times across all competitions for them last term.
Everton have added Thierno Barry to their ranks after the French striker joined from Villarreal, while Charly Alcaraz has joined permanently after an impressive loan spell last term and goalkeeper Mark Travers has also been signed.
Moyes will look to keep strengthening his squad ahead of next season, and more quality additions will come in handy as he looks to challenge for the European places.
The Blues are now well stocked at left-back following the departure of Ashley Young at the end of last term, and Aznou will be desperate to prove himself.
He spent the second-half of last term on loan in the La Liga with Real Valladolid, featuring in 13 games, but he was unable to help keep them up after they finished bottom of the league table.
