Daniele Adani views Inter Milan as the most enjoyable team to watch in Serie A despite a mixed start to the season.
Speaking on Viva el Futbol via FCInterNews, the former Fiorentina defender hailed Inter’s playing style.
Inter Milan have won two league titles in the last five seasons under two different managers.
Indeed, Antonio Conte broke a decade-long drought in 2020/21, inspiring Inter to their 19th Scudetto.
Then, Simone Inzaghi led the Nerazzurri a landmark 20th title in 2023/24.
In doing so, they laid the groundwork for a clear tactical identity that persists today under Cristian Chivu.
Relying on quick transition and intricate build-up play, Inter have become a dynamic and unpredictable force.
Despite Chivu’s topsy-turvy start in Serie A, Inter’s style remains unchanged.
The Nerazzurri continue to play aggressive football, always trying to score more.
Unfortunately, Inter desperately lacked better finishing in the opening five league rounds.

“Without dribblers, Inter is the team that passes and moves best in Serie A,” Adani stated. “These traits were evident under Conte, then altered by Inzaghi, and Chivu has inherited them.
“You can see rotations that recall old tactical concepts.
“In Cagliari, if you noticed, all the plays – except for Calhanoglu’s shot that hit the post – started on the left, where Bastoni, Carlos Augusto, Dimarco, and Mkhitaryan operate.
“On the other side, there were two new players, Luis Henrique and Akanji, which is why it’s harder to link up there.
“It’s not about the individual qualities, but the synergies aren’t the same as on the left.”
Furthermore, Adani doubts Chivu’s readiness to change the system despite his pre-season promise.
Indeed, Chivu vowed to turn Inzaghi’s signature 3-5-2 formation into a ‘more fluid’ 3-4-2-1 set-up.
However, Inter have repeatedly lined up in the former setting this term.
“We won’t see a change in the system,” he added. “It remains just a suggestion. Inter has been rejuvenated while maintaining the same characteristics.”
