FC Porto are on the verge of reaching 175,000 members, with the tally now closing in on that landmark.
The club’s Portal da Transparência listed 173,801 members on 3 March. According to O Jogo, that figure is already out of date and the total is now just short of 175,000.

In mid-June last year, after a season without silverware, Porto had a little over 151,000 members.
That means the club have added more than 22,000 members across the past nine months.
Membership growth has continued steadily as the club edges towards the 175,000 milestone.
