Another year of age typically brings another year of wisdom. If that's the case, then four members of the LA Galaxy are not only older but wiser this month.

Joseph Paintsil, Mauricio Cuevas, Gabriel Pec and Diego Fagundez all have birthdays in the month of February. In fact, they all turn celebrate them in the first two weeks of the month.

Joseph Paintsil, February 1

Paintsil turned 27 on February 1. Not only is the forward a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy, but he also represents his native country of Ghana.

Before his debut in MLS and with the Galaxy last year, Paintsil played for Belgian club Genk. He has scored 30 times in 130 appearances for the club.

The first birthday of the month belongs to a player that recorded as many goals as he did assists in 2024 (ten each). He was a major reason why his new team won the MLS Cup back in early December.

Mauricio Cuevas, February 10

One of Paintsil's youngest teammates also shares a February birthday. Cuevas turns 22 next Monday.

Asa member of the LA Galaxy II, the five-foot, seven-inch defender found the back of the net four times in 20 appearances from 2019-2021. Since then, Cuevas has shared time with both the LA Galaxy and Ventura County FC.

He has also been a member of the US Men's National Team at the U16, U17, U20, and U23 levels.

Gabriel Pec, February 11

A day after Cuevas's birthday is Pec's. The Brazalian born soccer player turns 24 next week.

The 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year had an impressive debut stateside. With 16 goals and 14 assists, Pec was an instant success for the eventual MLS Cup winners.

With the ACL injury to Riqui Puig and departure of Dejan Joveljic, Pec (along with Paintsil) will be tasked to deliver on offense.

Diego Fagundez, February 14

This midfielder is the oldest of the four. He will turn 30 on Valentine's Day.

Fagundez is a veteran having played for the New England Revolution and Austin FC before. Between those two franchises, the Montevideo, Uruguay native appeared in 350 games and scored 68 times.

With just one goal during the 2023 season, the almost 30-year-old found the back of the net four times in 2024. He added an assist during the sweep of the Colorado Rapids during Game 2 of the opening round this past postseason.

Fagundez, along with Paintsil, Pec and Cuevas are in action this weekend as they play Charlotte on Sunday, Minnesota United next Wednesday and the Chicago a day after #7's birthday (February 15).
