The final FIFA World Cup 26™ quarter-final place is up for grabs as Switzerland take on Colombia in Round of 16 action.

Who is playing today? 👀

After snatching the much-coveted top spot in the group stage from Canada, Switzerland earned a Round of 32 tie against Algeria.

They were comfortable victors as a goal in each half from Breel Embolo and Dan Ndoye saw them secure a 2-0 success and first World Cup™ knockout win for 88 years.

Colombia topped a group which also included Portugal to set up a meeting with Ghana.

Jhon Arias' early volley at the back post was the decisive moment, securing a 1-0 win and showdown with the Swiss.

Switzerland were dominant winners against Algeria, sent on their way to the win by Embolo's early opener, which was enough to earn him the fixture's top Attacking Score (8.01) in the FIFA Power Rankings - powered by Aramco.

Johan Mazambi was rewarded for his group stage form by being trusted again and made the most of it, his excellent assist for Embolo's goal saw him top the game's Creativity Score with 7.95 and as if that wasn't enough, the Swiss also had the top Defensive Score too thanks to Manuel Akanji's 7.36.

For Colombia, Arias' winning goal saw him awarded the game's top Attacking Score (8.04) against Ghana and they also had the highest-rated players in the other key categories too.

The highest Creativity Score of 7.62 went to Juan Quintero, while at the back, Davinson Sánchez had the game's best Defensive Score with 8.05.
