Fiorentina ‘have contacted’ Tedesco as Paratici leads search for new coach

Fiorentina have intensified their search for a head coach for next season, and, according to Fanatik, Fabio Paratici has contacted Fenerbahce boss Tedesco.

The Viola are already planning ahead, with current coach Paolo Vanoli set to leave after this term, regardless of whether they secure Serie A status.

Paratici has been tasked with identifying the right candidate, and Tedesco is the latest name under consideration.

An Italian aged 40, Tedesco grew up in Germany and built his career with Schalke 04 and RB Leipzig, before coaching the Belgium national team from 2023 to 2025.

Fenerbahce appointed him on September 9 after sacking Jose Mourinho, and his record stands at 24 wins, 11 draws and five defeats. His contract runs until June 2027.
