Flores strikes four as Nicaragua top Dominica in W Qualifiers closer | OneFootball

MANAGUA, Nicaragua – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers concluded with Nicaragua winning 14-nil against Dominica on Saturday at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.

Mayqueling Marquez scored the opening goal in the 2’ to place the hosts in the lead. Ines Navarrete doubled Nicaragua's lead in the 24’.

Hannah Lee extended the lead in the 27', followed by Sheyla Flores in the 28’.

Marquez secured a brace, and the fifth for Nicaragua, in the 37’. Navarrete collected her brace in the 43’. 

Yessenia Flores scored from the penalty spot in the 55’. An own goal by Starr Humphreys in the 64’ added one more to Nicaragua’s tally, and eight of the match.

Flores found the back of the net in the 74’ for her second of the match. The tenth goal of the night came in the 79’ from Aryeri Mejia.

Flores sealed her hat-trick in the 90’+1’. Heydin Picado struck one minute later to continue the offensive.

Nicaragua added another goal in the 90’+12’, a fourth goal for Flores. Tania Centeno closed the scoring with a conversion from the penalty spot in the 90’+13’. 

With the result, Nicaragua finished its W Qualifiers campaign with 3-0-1 record for second place in Group B. Dominica finished fifth in the group with a 0-1-3 record.
