With a whole heap of injuries creeping up on Rangers as they usually do at this time of year, who does Danny Rohl turn to to manage the crisis. Rangers XI prediction v Livi may not be very easy here.

He will be missing John Souttar, Derek Cornelius, Mikey Moore, Liam Kelly, Bailey Rice, and likely Youssef Chermiti. That’s a big hole.

This means significant adjustment as Ibrox Noise offers our predicted XI to face Livi.

Prediction

In goals obviously it’s still Butland. Kieran Wright will now be deputy.

Defence is already a mess, and loses Souttar and Cornelius. This means one of two things.

Either James Tavernier will slot in as CB with Max Aarons outside, or Ibrox Noise’s suggestion of Emmanuel Fernandez will simply replace Souttar and partner Djiga. Meghoma on the left as always.

In midfield Raskin is likely to continue, alongside Diomande and probably Aasgard in front of them.

Front 3 is another that’s hard to call. Danilo may start, flanked by Antman and Gassama. Miovski has been categorically abysmal so far.

Danny Rohl’s formations do fluctuate, and he’s going to have to adjust a few bits and bobs to get a functioning XI.

But the wider issue grows, because every fresh absence adds more strain to a squad that already looks stretched at the wrong moment.

The reality is Rohl must dig deeper into his options, and he needs a few of his fringe men to step up with purpose. The manager will not enjoy this. The fans will not either.

Dowell

Kieran Dowell could come into the frame if Rohl wants more control, though his form remains patchy and hard to trust.

Lyall Cameron may also emerge as an option further forward if Aasgaard cannot complete the full ninety, and that depends on the rhythm of the match.

The bench will look very young, because the list of injured senior players leaves Rohl short of proven reliability.

Supporters understand the scale of the crisis, but they still expect a result, because Livingston at home offers no room for slip ups.

The XI

So Ibrox Noise’s predicted XI:

Butland: Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Meghoma; Raskin, Dio; Aasgaard; Danilo, Antman, Gassama.

Formation likely a 4-3-3 but Rohl does like his 3-4-3. We’re just not sure the players are there for that one now.

We’ll see how Rangers XI prediction v Livi goes.
