Former West Brom manager Tony Mowbray was among the crowd at Ewood Park as Albion collected a battling point at Blackburn Rovers. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the former boss was seen in the stands.
Billed as a relegation six pointer, the match was low on quality and ended all square.
Backed by 7,500 travelling fans, Albion came closest when Aune Heggebo struck the bar, leaving a sense of what might have been.
The occasion fell a year to the day since Mowbray was dismissed as Albion manager after defeats to Coventry and Derby damaged play-off hopes.
His brief second spell at the club ended just days before the season finished. He has also been spotted at Middlesbrough games, another of his former clubs as player and manager.
Mowbray previously led Albion to the Premier League and enjoyed success at Blackburn during their return to the Championship. His last job was in the Championship with Albion and he has yet to return to the dugout.
