This Friday, just hours after the French national team’s victory over Ukraine (4-0), Kylian Mbappé was forced to leave the Les Bleus training camp. Here’s the latest on his health status.

France officially booked their ticket to the next World Cup after their win against Ukraine (4-0) yesterday. On Thursday, Les Bleus announced that several players would be leaving the squad ahead of the final fixture in Azerbaijan on Sunday. Sidelined by injuries, Kylian Mbappé and Eduardo Camavinga headed back to Madrid, while Manu Koné, suspended after picking up a card at Parc des Princes, is on his way to Rome.

There was some concern for Camavinga and Mbappé, but according to La Cope, there’s nothing serious to worry about. Camavinga, who’s dealing with discomfort in his left hamstring, is expected to be available for Real Madrid’s next clash at Elche in just over a week. As for Mbappé, he suffered from inflammation in his right ankle but should also be fit for that upcoming La Liga match.
