France is the place to shop for talent these days and the Reds have another exciting Frenchman at the top of their shopping list.

Over the course of the last few years, France and Spain have dominated international football. Right now, with less than 12 months to go until the World Cup, those two sides are the favourites for the competition once again.

The French team is brimming with exciting talent, many of whom played a key role in Paris Saint Germain's triumph in the Champions League last season.

Liverpool have signed their very own talented Frenchman in Hugo Ekitike this summer who has taken the Premier League by storm.

He has four goal contributions in his first four games for the club. The 23-year-old has fitted in seamlessly and it looks like Liverpool now have an appetite to add more French talent to their attack.

With Ibrahima Konate in the ranks, the 'French curse' which afflicted so many of Liverpool's previous imports from the nation, such as Aly Cissokho, Mamadou Sakho, David Ngog, David Cheyrou, Anthony Le Tallec and others, seems to have been broken at last.

With the curse gone, Liverpool can look forward to an exciting new golden generation of French stars at Anfield.

Especially if the Daily Mail's recent report is to be believed.

They claim that the early noise is that Michael Olise will be at the 'top' of Liverpool's shopping list come next summer or in two year's time with the Reds looking for a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

There's no denying that the Egyptian needs a long-term heir to his throne so going for Olise would make a lot of sense.

The French international is probably one of the most talented right-wingers in European football at the moment. He would instantly make this team even stronger.

Olise is not only an elite creator but he can score goals and he's excellent when it comes to his one vs one dribbles as well.

He's only going to be 24-years-old next summer which means he is going to be in his prime years and that is usually the time Liverpool like to bring in key targets.

It's also important to note that Liverpool have had eyes on Olise for a while. Way back when he was breaking through at Reading the Reds' scouts kept a close eye on him and even tried to bring him to the club.

So, the long-term interest has been there from Liverpool for a while. This is why a move for Olise simply cannot be ruled out.
