Juventus are reportedly looking to bolster the right-hand side of their defence with the addition of Noussair Mazraoui.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football Italia), the Old Lady first established their interest in Manchester United’s full-back in August.

Now, as they look to close the six-point gap between them and Serie A leaders Inter Milan, they’ve conceded that mid-season reinforcements may be necessary – and Mazraoui is high on the shortlist.

The former Ajax and Bayern Munich star is currently away on international duty at the African Cup of Nations.

Last night, Morocco, who are hosting the tournament, booked their semi-final spot via a 2-0 win over Cameroon, which saw Mazraoui come head-to-head with club teammate Bryan Mbeumo.

Prior to AFCON getting underway, the 28-year-old had just overseen his first prolonged run of availability and starts for United, having endured a stop-start few months with injury concerns at the beginning of 2025/2026.

Mazraoui has now started six matches in the Premier League and been utilised three times off the bench, while racking up 443 minutes of action.

Ultimately, you’d imagine any potential move Juventus make will be shrugged off by Red Devils chiefs.

They are under no pressure to facilitate sales anytime soon, and will view Mazraoui as an essential player in the first team – irrespective of which manager is at the reins from now until the summer.

He is contracted to United until June 2028 plus the option of an additional 12 months, so it’s relatively safe to say he’s going nowhere for the time being.
