Fulham agree €50m deals for Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios | OneFootball

According to Hounslow Herald, Fulham have agreed deals to sign Real Madrid pair Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios for a combined €50m (£42.9m).

The club will pay an initial €40m (£34.3m) for striker Garcia and €10m (£8.6m) for attacking midfielder Palacios, with Real Madrid retaining a 30% sell-on clause in both.

The duo are expected to reunite with head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who previously worked with both during his spell in Real Madrid's academy.

Garcia, 22, drew interest from several clubs after breaking into Real Madrid's first team last season. He made 39 senior appearances and scored eight goals, including a hat-trick against Real Betis. He also claimed the Golden Boot at last summer's Club World Cup with four goals.

Palacios, 21, made seven first-team appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, five of them in La Liga after his senior debut in January.

The signings would provide Fulham with fresh attacking options following the departures of Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez, who left as free agents to Leeds United and Wolves respectively.

Garcia and Palacios are set to become Fulham's first major arrivals of the transfer window, joining Swedish forward Jonah Kusi-Asare, whose move from Bayern Munich was made permanent after a loan at Craven Cottage.

Arbeloa took charge at Fulham this summer on a three-year contract after succeeding Marco Silva, who departed for Benfica. Jose Mourinho replaced Arbeloa at Real Madrid.
