Alan Do Marcolino has officially left Stade Rennais on August 8, 2025, to join the Portuguese club Lusitânia FC Lourosa, which will compete in the Portuguese second division this season. The Gabonese international has signed a three-year deal, keeping him at the club until June 2028.

This marks a fresh start for the Gabon international, who is seeking stability and regular playing time. After joining Stade Rennais in 2017, Alan Do Marcolino rose through the ranks of the Breton academy following an initial stint at Stade Lavallois. He signed his first professional contract with Rennes in April 2022. However, in a highly competitive environment, the striker found first-team opportunities in Ligue 1 limited. With one year remaining on his contract, he decided to move on.

Opting to join Lusitânia FC Lourosa, an ambitious club recently promoted to Liga Portugal 2, demonstrates Alan Do Marcolino’s determination to revive his career in a competitive yet accessible setting. The Portuguese club, renowned for nurturing young African talents, could provide Alan with the ideal environment to further his technical development and gain consistency.
