Garcia Gets 8, Rashford With 7.5 | Barcelona Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Oviedo

Barcelona faced off against Oviedo at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Alberto Reina found the back of the net. Hansi Flick’s men were trailing 1-0 at the half-time break.
Eric Garcia equalised for Barcelona in the 56th minute before Robert Lewandowski put his team ahead just 14 minutes later. Ronald Araujo added another goal late in the game as the match finished with Barca earning an impressive 3-1 win away from home.

Garcia made a couple of solid saves at the back, but made a costly error tonight.
RB: Eric Garcia – 8/10
He performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward. Garcia managed to equalise for Barca in the 56th minute.
CB: Ronald Araujo -7.5/10
Araujo didn’t do much wrong on the defensive end of the pitch and did well to score late in the game.
CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10
The Spaniard was a rock at the back and deserves credit for winning a few important aerial duels.

LB: Gerard Martin – 6.5/10
Martin was solid when defending inside his half, but offered very little in the opponent’s half.
CM: Marc Casado – 6.5/10
He got stuck in with some solid tackles and had a decent game going forward.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
Pedri anchored the midfield well and ran the show well in the opposition half.
RW: Raphinha – 7/10
He made a few key chances for others around him, but there was no goal for him tonight.
CAM: Dani Olmo – 7/10
Olmo was a constant menace in the final third but failed to register a goal.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 7.5/10
Rashford caused a lot of headaches for his marker and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
ST: Ferran Torres – 7/10
The Spaniard was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 7.5/10
De Jong was a real menace in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 7.5/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and did well to score in the 70th minute.
