Rodrigo Garro urged a swift response after Corinthians lost 3-1 to Fluminense at the Maracanã on Wednesday night, extending their winless run to eight games in the ninth round of the Brasileiro.

According to Globo.com, the Argentine midfielder said he understood coach Dorival Júnior taking responsibility but felt it was a little unfair to blame either the coach or the group, and he called for the squad to stick together.

Dorival accepted responsibility during his post-match press conference in Rio de Janeiro.

Corinthians have 10 points and are 11th.

They host Internacional at the Neo Química Arena on Sunday at 19:30 Brasília time.
