Gian Piero Gasperini is waiting to be announced officially by Roma as their new head coach.
The Italian technician arrived in the capital on Wednesday and travelled to Trigoria for the first time.

There he met with Claudio Ranieri who is now acting as club senior executive advisor.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the pair reviewed Gasperini’s technical staff and planned the first moves to improve the team.
The discussions also centered around the future of select players – Pellegrini, Paredes and Dovbyk, to begin with, as well as Hermoso and Kumbulla who are set to return from loan.
