Roma are focused on the addition of a new defender to their roster.
With the exit of Mats Hummels and the uncertain future of Marash Kumbulla and Mario Hermoso – both back from loan and to be evaluated by Gasperini – the Giallorossi are looking for an experienced Serie A centreback on the transfermarket.

According to Il Romanista, in addition to Bologna’s Lucumi, Roma have made inquiries for Jaka Bijol.
The Udinese man had already been linked with the capital club in the past.
The Giallorossi have maintained his interest and remain in contact with the player’s entourage as Bijol seeks a move out of Udine.
Bijol’s ‘s contract expires in 2027 and the Friulians value him between 20 and 25 million euros.
