Lazio travelled to Genoa to face Patrick Vieira’s side at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday evening: One of four games that should have been played on Easter Monday, but was postponed following the death of Pope Francis.

Just after a quarter of an hour into proceedings, Ultras from the home side entered the ground and let off a series of smoke bombs, which led to the game’s suspension as the referees’ view of the pitch was obstructed as a result.

Unfortunately, one of the smoke bombs thrown from the Curva Nord hit Mandas, who required treatment from medical staff on the pitch.

Fortunately, the Lazio goalkeeper was eventually cleared to continue playing.

Genoa were reduced to 10 men shortly afterwards, as debutant Sebastian Otoa was shown a straight red card for a foul on Mattia Zaccagni. Taty Castellanos then put the Biancocelesti 1-0 up shortly after the half hour mark.
