Gipuzkoa to set up fan zones for Real Sociedad’s Copa del Rey final | OneFootball

Gipuzkoa will host four fan zones on 18 April so Real Sociedad supporters can watch the Copa del Rey final against Atlético de Madrid together on giant screens in Zarautz, Zumarraga, Tolosa and Lasarte-Oria.

As reported by AS, the Diputación de Gipuzkoa is coordinating the plan, aiming for locals to gather in their own towns in a lively, shared setting. Festivities will begin in the afternoon with charangas steering crowds towards the screens.

Each site will offer DJs, inflatables for children and face painting workshops, creating a build-up for families and groups. All activities are free, turning the day into a collective celebration at every venue.

Special public transport schedules are planned so nobody needs to drive, with Lurraldebus and Euskotren adding services for travel and the return home after the match. There will also be merchandise giveaways and other surprises up to the 21:00 kick-off.

Further details, including exact screen locations and the timings of the last buses and trains in each municipality, will be announced soon by the Diputación. Separately, members have until Sunday at 23:59 to buy final tickets for 18 April, and fewer than 1,000 remain, limited to Preferencia.
