Real Sociedad are preparing for the Copa del Rey final on 18 April at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Sevilla, with selection doubts clouding their build-up to face Atlético de Madrid.

According to AS, several txuri-urdin players are training away from the group: Álvaro Odriozola, Yangel Herrera, Iñaki Rupérez, Igor Zubeldia and Jon Gorrotxategi, while Take Kubo has rejoined full sessions after time out.

Odriozola, sidelined with a right-knee cruciate injury, and Herrera, out with a soleus problem, are considered out of the final. Rupérez, absent since pre-season, is also not in contention.

Kubo is back in the team dynamic and aims to get minutes in the Liga fixtures against Levante and Deportivo Alavés to rebuild sharpness before travelling to Sevilla.

Zubeldia remains sidelined with a left hamstring injury. His progress over the next two weeks will determine whether he is available, with a late decision expected by Pellegrino Matarazzo.

Gorrotxategi continues to manage muscular discomfort, but he is not expected to have problems for 18 April and could feature in league matches beforehand as La Real seek maximum availability.
