Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner says Adam Wharton is set to return to the squad for the game against West Ham.
Wharton suffered an adductor injury which forced him to miss the last two games bit he is set to be back involved when his side take on the Hammers, along with striker Eddie Nketiah who has also returned to fitness.
“The positive news is that Adam Wharton and Eddie Nketiah are back in the squad tomorrow,” Glasner said.
“We have no new injuries from the Millwall game.
“Adam is fit enough to start. He just missed two weeks, 10 days, and then he started his training on the pitch, and he has been with us for a few days.
“Eddie is a bit different. He missed all the pre-season, but he looked very good in training today and on Wednesday, when we had a really intense session, so let’s see how the game is going, but those players looked very sharp in training.”
Ismaila Sarr will also miss out again, but Glasner revealed the forward is set to return to training on Sunday and could be back for the following game against Liverpool.
Goalkeeper Walter Benitez will also not be involved after injuring his finger in the EFL Cup win over Millwall.
“He dislocated his little finger, and he needs to rest now, so he will miss West Ham and Liverpool,” Glasner said. “We are hopeful he can come back after the Liverpool game.”
