Graham Potter is under enormous pressure at West Ham United after a poor start to the season.

The Hammers are languishing in 18th place after losing three of their opening four Premier League fixtures.

But Potter is not expected to be sacked if they fail to perform in Saturday’s home game against Crystal Palace.

According to the Guardian, West Ham chairman David Sullivan is not ready to pull the plug on Potter yet, but contingency plans are being put in place.

The Hammers could appoint Slaven Bilic, who managed the club between 2015 and 2017.

Bilic did well in his debut campaign, leading his side to a seventh-place Premier League finish and qualifying for the Europa League play-offs.

However, he struggled to maintain the standards after the club moved to the London Stadium from Upton Park.

David Moyes replaced the Croatian boss, but he reportedly does not hold a grudge and is willing to return to West Ham.

Nuno Espirito Santo, who was recently sacked by Nottingham Forest, is also under consideration. It is unclear whether the Portuguese would be open to taking a new role so soon.

He led Forest to European qualification last season, but he was dismissed after a breakdown in his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Former Everton boss Sean Dyche has also been linked. Like Nuno, his pragmatic style of play is unlikely to be popular with West Ham supporters.
