Gonçalo Ramos confirms PSG stay | OneFootball

Gonçalo Ramos (24) netted the last-gasp equaliser for Paris Saint-Germain against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup, taking the game to penalties. PSG went on to win the final, and post-match, the Portugal international said that he isn’t going anywhere.

With Ousmane Dembélé repurposed as a No.9, Ramos has seen his game time limited. He is used as more of an option off the bench by Luis Enrique and it was reported earlier in the summer that PSG were not opposed to his departure.

However, despite an approach from AC Milan, as reported by Sacha Tavolieri, Les Parisiens’ stance looks to have changed and they now seem keen on retaining their player. Ramos, the hero against Spurs on Wednesday night, has now made his intentions clear with the Ligue 1 season fast approaching.

Questioned in the mixed zone post-match, Ramos said, “Yes, I’m staying.” His comments have now put the ongoing speculation about his future to rest.
