Leeds United are working to add to their squad in the final week of January, with their move for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen ongoing after a first bid was rejected last week.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds have lodged an offer and remain in talks with Wolves, with negotiations described as ongoing rather than a simple yes or no. The report says Leeds have not moved on, questions whether walking away would make sense, and notes there is no confirmation of any relegation clause, while raising the possibility one could reduce a summer fee if Wolves were relegated.

The Norway international produced 14 goals and 4 assists in 35 Premier League games last season, prompting Newcastle United interest in the summer and a reported big-money bid that Wolves rejected.

Strand Larsen has found it tougher this term, with one Premier League goal so far.

Leeds have already added Brighton and Hove Albion winger Facundo Buonanotte on loan this month, while winger Jack Harrison and forward Harry Gray have departed on loan to Fiorentina and Rotherham United respectively.
