Greg Taylor’s final act of skelping in social media put down of Boyd | OneFootball

Greg Taylor confirmed his transfer to PAOK earlier today. The Scotland Internationalist was available on a free transfer having failed to agree new terms at Celtic.

The player was a great servant for the club and served up some brilliant moments – calling Alfredo Morelos fat or giving Todd Cantwell a ‘shushburger’. Although, in a final act of ‘skelping, GT3 left a mark on Kris Boyd who cheekily referenced Taylor’s history in the Rangers Academy.

The response was incredible and left no doubt about Taylor’s feelings for Celtic despite departing.

After signing from Kilmarnock in the summer of 2019 to replace Tierney, Taylor has won 11 major trophies. The fullback has fought off a number of players for the jersey, even adapting his game to play as an inverted left back under Ange Postecoglou. Taylor has made 216 appearances for Celtic, scoring 9 goals and assisting on 33 occasions. The player would be a loss as he is a leader on the pitch and clearly a big character in the dressing room.
