Could Junior Olaitan and Mamadou Diop be on the move this summer? Grenoble, their current club, wouldn’t be against the idea if the right offers land on the table.

Arriving in Grenoble just a year ago, Junior Olaitan wasted no time making his mark. After an impressive debut season in Ligue 2, the Beninese forward is already attracting plenty of interest and could well leave GF38 this summer. His versatility and considerable potential have not gone unnoticed by several clubs, both in France and abroad, who have already submitted offers. However, so far, these proposals haven’t convinced the Isère club’s management.

The situation is similar for Mamadou Diop, the Mauritanian international goalkeeper. Rock-solid on his line, commanding in the air, and decisive on numerous occasions this season, the 25-year-old shot-stopper has also caught the eye. His performances for Grenoble and the national team have only boosted his reputation as a player with tremendous upside.

Speaking to Dauphiné Libéré, sporting director Max Marty confirmed the growing interest in both players:

We need a few player departures in addition to those whose contracts are ending. We have offers for some, but they’re not quite at the level we expect yet. For instance, we can mention our goalkeeper Mamadou Diop or our striker Junior Olaitan.
