Hansi Flick had a clear message for his Barcelona fringe players after a 3-0 La Liga win at home to Getafe.
La Blaugrana cruised to a fourth league win of the season and they remain unbeaten across all all competitions with a two point gap behind leaders Real Madrid.
Two first half goals from Ferran Torres set the tone for Barcelona at the Estadi Johan Cruyff before Dani Olmo wrapped up the victory with his first goal of 2025/26.
Both players were rotated into the starting line up following the 2-1 UEFA Champions League win at Newcastle United and Torres and Olmo grabbed their chances.
Marcus Rashford scored twice on Tyneside – his first goals since joining on loan from Manchester United this summer – but squad depth is vital for Flick.
Maintaining motivation will be a vital task for Flick, with Torres his top scorer so far this season, on four goals.

Torres is not a first choice pick, with Robert Lewandowski back fit, but Lamine Yamal’s absence has opened up gaps and Flick wants a united front.
“It’s very important to have players in top form. We have matches every three or four days, so it’s great that our players are performing at a high level,” h said at full time.
“We have 25-27 players and we need everyone. The most important thing for me is that each player gives their best for the team’s benefit, and Dani Olmo did that today. That’s what we will expect from him throughout the season.
“Every player in the team is important, and I’m happy to have attackers of this level, they help us a lot.”
Up next for Barcelona is a midweek trip to Real Oviedo on September 25 before a home tie with Real Sociedad on September 28 with four clashes on the schedule before the October international break.
