Harry Kane scores as Bayern Munich beat Frankfurt in the Bundesliga

Bayern Munich defeated Eintracht Frankfurt by 3-0 this Saturday at Deutsche Bank Park, in the sixth round of the German Championship. Luis Díaz (twice) and Harry Kane scored the goals for the Bavarian victory.

How was the match?

First half

Just 15 seconds after kickoff, Bayern opened the scoring with Luis Díaz, after a cross from Serge Gnabry. At 14 minutes, Frankfurt managed to equalize with a shot from outside the box by Jean Bahoya. However, after VAR review, the goal was disallowed due to a handball by the number 20 at the start of the play.

At the 27th minute, Harry Kane extended the lead for the visitors. The English striker received a pass from Luis Díaz and finished from outside the box, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. It was the 18th goal for the striker in just ten matches wearing the Bayern shirt.

Second half

In the final stage, Bayern controlled the pace of the match. At the 10th minute, Kane almost scored again after a rebound, but hit the post.

At the 40th minute, Kauã Santos, while trying to defend a play from the number 9, ended up going in hard on Harry Kane, who felt his right ankle but stayed on the field. The play did not result in a penalty because the English striker was in an offside position.

Near the end of the match, at the 39th minute, Raphael Guerreiro led a counterattack and crossed to Luis Díaz, who finished to find the back of the net.
